How Kinsta’s Hosting Plans Work
All of our hosting plans include specifications such as the number of permitted WordPress installations, storage space, and PHP workers. This is all described in detail on our pricing page. Multisite mode is supported on all plans except Starter. Essentially, you should select the plan that most closely matches your resource footprint, albeit with some overhead.
For instance, if your site had 80,000 visits last month and is growing rapidly, you should select a plan with at least 100,000 visits to allow for growth. The following features are included with every plan:

Disk Space

To provide you with as much disk space as possible, we exclude staging sites from our reporting when calculating your total disk space usage. Only active websites contribute to your disk space usage. We offer a disk space add-on for sites that require more disk space than their plan allows, so you can increase your storage capacity without upgrading to a higher plan tier.
Number of Installs
Each hosting plan includes a predetermined quantity of installs. Installs consist of a WordPress website (files) and its MySQL database. This does not imply the total number of websites. For instance, if you are utilizing multisite, you are still utilizing a single WordPress installation and database. Therefore, it is possible to operate multiple websites with our multisite-supporting plans.
Each installation also includes a complimentary staging environment for testing plugins, themes, and updates.
PHP Workers
Each hosting plan includes a predetermined quantity of PHP workers. These determine the number of concurrent requests your site can handle at any given time. If you’re operating an eCommerce, membership, or community website, these are typically resource-intensive and contain a great deal of non-cacheable content. WordPress Upgrades
Kinsta does not enforce major updates because each user should test these types of significant changes before applying them. This is possible in our staging environment. Nevertheless, security updates (such as WordPress 4.7.1, 4.7.2, etc.) are automatically applied.
